Those who want another Europe have a voice in the European Parliament.
The Left in the European Parliament stands up for workers, environment, feminism, peace & human rights. What unites us is the vision of a socially equitable and sustainable Europe based on international solidarity.
The major policies of the European Union and its countries have not reflected this vision thus far. EU policy is too frequently based on a radically market-oriented logic of competition both within the EU and towards the rest of the world.
The European Union must become a project of people and cannot remain a project of the elites. Neoliberals and the far-right will always be confronted by those of us working in the public interest.
We made a commitment: to be the voice of the streets in the European Parliament.
