This event is organised in the context of a shifting global landscape, with rising geopolitical tensions, climate breakdown and economic sectors increasingly used as tools of power, the EU must rethink its economic foundations. With this event we are aiming to create a space for bold, progressive thinking on the future of EU economic policy—bringing together academics and policymakers to explore how fiscal, monetary and industrial strategies can prioritise people’s well-being, resilience and democratic control in an era of overlapping crises.
