Rape Culture is about calling into question, and blaming, survivors for having been victims.

 

 

Across several European cities, we’ve seen the rise in recent weeks of a feminist movement to tackle sexual assault in bars and nightclubs.
The “Balance Ton Bar” (Call Out Your Bar) movement is helping women share their testimonies to highlight and denounce rape culture.

On the occasion of The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women  we send a message also to men: it’s time for you to wake up. Stop being complicit. It’s time for you to step up and join the struggle so that women and gender minorities obtain the same rights as you.It is time to fight together for equality, and to end violence against women.
