As the European Parliament held a debate on the peace process in Colombia, Left MEPs from different groups sent their support for an end to decades of violence in Colombia. While the EPP (centre-right) and ALDE (liberals) prevented a vote on an official resolution, the progressive and left-wing groups called on the EU to fully back the crucial work being done for peace in the country.
