On the centenary of the birth of José Saramago (16/11/1922), The Left in the European Parliament will mark the date by celebrating the work of one of the greatest writers in the Portuguese language. Internationally recognized & winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, Saramago was an outstanding intellectual and anti-fascist in defence of the values of the revolution of April 1974.
