This event aims to bridge the gap between the streets and the Left’s antifascist work in the Parliament, exploring best practices and common resistance strategies while developing concrete strategies for future cooperation between structures inside and outside the Parliament.

15.00 Opening of the Event by Martin Schirdewan, MEP

The first panel will focus on the Budapest cases, showing solidarity and reporting back from different cases of criminalisation of antifascists, exploring best practices and developing common strategies of resistance.

17.10 Antifascism today & strategies for the future

The second panel will focus on discussing together what antifascism means in today’s society and world and aims at bridging the gap between outer parliamentary struggles against fascism and the Left groups antifascist work in the Parliament. The panel should develop concrete strategies for future cooperation between structures inside and outside the Parliament and should be a point of departure for our common fight in the future.
