European Parliament – Brussels

Chile is experiencing a historic moment and the world is watching.

On September 4, Chileans will have the choice between keeping Pinochet’s constitution or voting for the New Constitution, the result of the popular struggle that  promoted a democratic and participatory constituent process.

But what impact does feminism have on the new constitution? What role do Chileans play from abroad and what can Europe learn from the Chilean experience?

We will talk about these issues and many more with the former vice-president of the Constituent Convention, Bárbara Sepúlveda Hales and Left MEP, María Eugenia Rodríguez Palop (Podemos, Spain).
