The European Parliament created a Special Committee on Foreign Interference in all Democratic Processes in the European Union, including Disinformation (INGE). The committee’s creation confirmed the arrival into the European political mainstream of the “foreign interference” narrative, which has been gaining traction in the European and American political and press establishments over the last six years. This is the presentation of the investigative report commissioned by the group of The Left in order to counter this narrative and really discuss where it stems from and what it behind it.
Moderation, introduction and conclusions will be held by Clare Daly.
The two panelists are Anne Zetsche and Joshua Rahtz, authors of the study.
Anne Zetsche received her doctoral degree in history from Northumbria University, UK and works as an independent researcher and author. In September 2021, she was elected to the municipal council in Berlin Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf for DIE LINKE.
Joshua Rahtz holds a PhD in history from UCLA and works as an editor and translator in German
