GUE/NGL condemns the attack on the Har Nof synagogue this morning killing four people and expresses its condolences to the families of the victims.

GUE/NGL also condemns the attacks and violence committed against the Palestinian people which have been increasing over the past few weeks.

GUE/NGL is firmly convinced that only with a peace process the achievement of a two-state solution and with both parties starting to work together under legal international supervision will the escalation of violence come to an end.

GUE/NGL calls for the respect of all people and for a long term stability in both states.
