Today and tomorrow, nine GUE/NGL MEPs will visit Cyprus to discuss the Cyprus problem with leaders of the left-wing political party, AKEL.
The main items on the agenda include the current situation in Cyprus in view of the continuing for 41 years Turkish occupation of the northern part of the country, the state of play in the negotiations and potential solutions to the most difficult aspects of the problem.
