GUE/NGL MEPs will be demonstrating across Europe tomorrow (11 October) to highlight their opposition to the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), the Canada-EU Trade Agreement (CETA) and the Trade in Services Agreement (TISA).

These upcoming trade deals weaken our democracies and empower corporations. They set the scene for further attacks on the environment, jobs, social rights, public services, safety standards, health systems, food, and digital rights.

We need to respect democracy and end secret backroom negotiations on these trade deals now!

GUE/NGL MEPs will next week highlight the lack of transparency surrounding the negotiations at an action in the European Parliament – details to follow.
