The internal standards reflect the core principles and values of the group, with a strong emphasis on integrity and ethical conduct.

The Left seeks to lead by example, reaffirming its commitment to serving the people and upholding standards in public office in the European Parliament and EU institutions more broadly. Scandals over the last year have dogged European politics. In this context, The Left invites other political organisations at the EU level to commit to upholding ethical standards to foster a culture of accountability, transparency and integrity in European politics.
