Manon Aubry

Along with Martin Schirdewan, Manon Aubry (France Insoumise, France) was elected co-president of the GUE/NGL group in July 2019. She has been a Member of the European Parliament since May 2019 and is the youngest ever person to be the co-leader of a political group in the European Parliament. Prior to being elected as an MEP, Aubry worked as spokesperson for Oxfam.  

Martin Schirdewan

Martin Schirdewan (DIE LINKE, Germany) has been an MEP since 2017, working primarily on tax justice and economic issues, and was re-elected in May 2019. Prior to that, he was the head of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in Brussels between 2015 and 2017.
