GUE/NGL MEPS CURZIO MALTESE & ELEONORA FORENZA INVITE YOU TO A PRESS CONFERENCE ON WEDNESDAY 26.10.2016 AT 15.30 – EP PRESS ROOM LOW-1/201

 

The press conference will take place prior to a hearing titled:

“The Judgement of the Permanent People’s Tribunal on the Turin-Lyon High-Speed Rail Link: Respect Human Rights and Stop the Waste of Money”

During the press conference and hearing, representatives of the Permanent People’s Tribunal (former Russell Tribunal) will present the judgement reached in a three-day session held in Turin last November about the violation of citizens' rights and health from the ongoing works on the Lyon-Turin HS railway. The event will critically address projects funded through the Connecting Europe Facility Fund and will pinpoint the environmentally dangerous and economically harmful impact of some of these projects. Copies of the judgement will be available at the press conference.
